Martial Arts

The Y offers martial arts disciplines. Programs are for ages 6 & up. 


Judo/Jujitsu 

Students can learn an ancient art of self defense that consists of throwing, grappling, and striking techniques. 

Advanced/Adults meet Mondays 7-8:30 PM (check here for children's Judo class schedule).

Prices depend on number of classes in a month. Call the Y for details.

 

Karate

Students learn techniques to develop strength, integrity, and respect for others as well as an effective means of self defense. Program is instructed by Joe Lebert.

Classes are held on Tuesdays 7:30-9:30 PM

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a form of Chinese martial arts practice with many health benefits. Tai Chi involves graceful movements to increase balance, strength, and flexibility.

Tai Chi 1   Wednesdays   1 - 2 PM

Tai Chi 3   Wednesdays   7:15 - 8:15 PM

Must register for one class. May not attend different times within your session.
